Mr. Taylor
Hello! My name is Josh Taylor. I teach 7th grade social studies at Carter Middle School for the Clio Area Schools in Clio, MI. I have taught in the Clio School District since the fall of 2001. I love teaching 7th grade. My students are typically a mesh between elementary and secondary students which keeps things interesting!
I also enjoy coaching. I have roughly twenty five years of baseball/softball coaching experience and was the head Varsity Baseball coach at Clio High School from 2009-2012.
I have always been a "Mustang." I have lived in Clio since I was two years old. I graduated from Clio High School in 1993. After graduating from college in 2001, I moved back home, after accepting a teaching position for Clio Area Schools.

Michigan State University
I love my Spartans! At Michigan State University I earned a degree in History (1999), obtained my teaching certificate (2001), and earned my Master's degree in Teaching and Curriculum (2004). More than the degrees, Michigan State instilled in me discipline, a work ethic, and perseverance. For that, I am forever in debt to Michigan State University. SPARTANS WILL. Go Green!
My wife and I with my favorite coach, Coach Izzo!
Family
My wife and I married in June of 2001. As you can see, we have three children, Blake, Ava, and Payton. We also have a dog (Boxer) named Layla.
Steelers
I am a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan! For at least 16 weeks starting in the fall I spend days or nights watching my Steelers. I have been a fan since I first discovered football. I have been to several games and attended training camps. I even belong to a fan club. Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go!
